One Word Thoughts

One "Word" Thoughts is a page that will take a word from scripture that is used traditionally in a literal and theological realm, and expand the possibilities of understanding that will bring Life, Love, and Light to the scriptures. It will be up to you to allow the Holy Spirit to bring forth understanding to the things of God that are foolishness to the natural mind's understanding.

Yom Kippur, also known as the Day of Atonement, is the moment in time, once a year, when the High Priest of the Old Testament would take the blood sacrifice of a goat into the Holy of Holiness for the redemption of sin for all the people of God. It is a moment when Eternity meets time in the earth.
Dr. Audrey Drummonds • Holy Spirit
When we read, hear, or see something, we have a choice, a free-will, to decide if that information is to be processed and taken within the mind to become a part of the individual or discarded.

Scripture is the written WORD; the thought of God given form. Mankind are vessels that God used to write the Scriptures as each person experienced a personal encounter with God's thoughts that cannot be questioned of what the vessels were sharing. Only by the Holy Spirit can we experience the depth and life of what is written. Only when the WORD circumcises our heart by personal experience can the truth of God's created identity in us be released to grasp HIS TRUTH. Only then does the "pot" stop questioning the Potter's creation, thus removing the issue of "free-will" to the Potter's hand to release the fullness of being created in His image; Christ in us. When Paul writes "light afflictions" to Corinth what is God saying through Paul?

As the Sabbath is the day of God's rest, so also do the people become the "rest" of God; where God dwells. When God created man in His image, He did so as the last and grandeur creation. He then entered His rest finishing His work of creation. Man rested with God on this seventh day. Man was celebrating with God the finished work of creation, yet man had done no work in the creation.

When Jesus hung on the cross and declared "IT IS FINISHED" (John 19:30), He was bringing back to God the unity of the Sabbath day as one. The Sabbath is a sign to signify to us that God the Father has set aside a company of people that believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ to BE the resting place, everlasting habitation, of God to dwell. In the "rest" of God, He will bring blessings, sanctification, and a place of knowing His presence is with you wherever you go. This rest is for the whole man; spirit, soul, and body.

Do you rest in God, and does God rest in you?

"On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.Again Jesus said, "Peace is with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." (John 20:19-23 NIV).

Jesus restored the "breathe of God" back into man giving us the ability to create in our Father's image by the thoughts in our heart and the words we speak. Those that have the power of the Holy Spirit ruling in their lifehave the power of life to overcome death, hell, and the grave.

Today, we live at a time in history with the ability to capture our NOW moement using cameras, videos, and other media resources, bringing our yesterdays to our remembrance of today. What is amazing is that at the moemnt we were actually experiencing the event, we rarely have the intensity of the experience as we are able to recall looking at the pictures. We were just simply there. So it will be in the Kingdom of God...

Throughout the New Testament, the words "eternal" and "everlasting" are the same Greek word "Aionios" found in the Strong's Concordance as number 166. It means belonging to the time in its duration. Our true God identity, which is constant and abiding within us, not affected by the limitations of time. It is age to age: age abiding life in the midst of time. Eternal (166) belongs to the age or time (165) in its duration. "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High" (Psalm 82:6).

"For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, laborers together) with and for God; you are God's garden and vineyard and field under cultivation, [you are] God's building" (1 Cor. 3:9 AMP). Paul was writing this to Corinth explaining who they were today, not someday when they die to go to heaven.

Jesus is introducing a system of praying and relationship with God that overrides what the Disciples were accustomed to as the pattern to pray. He tells us to go to our most private room and close the door so that no one else will be with you. Maybe this is your bedroom, your closet, or bathroom? Or maybe it is a quiet place among the trees, along the water's edge of the ocean, or even your own backyard garden. Wherever this place is for you, the requirements are that you be alone where you can talk to your Heavenly Father with the freedom of no one hearing you. Your Heavenly Father promises that He will be in this place with you; He will hear you; and He will respond favorably to your words that you've spoken from your heart that will cause a transformation in you when you're among others.

Let the manifestation of the fruit from the Tree of Life be seen in you today

For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. (Matt. 6:32-34 AMP).

How often have we said something out of habit without really stopping to consider what was said? When my children were young, as a mother, I would try to teach them in the way they should be trained according to how I understood the Bible. A pet-pive of mine was being very cautious of listening to the words that my children would say so if I heard the four letter "s-word" I would instantly correct them.

We are living at a time in history that is being governed by a spirit of fear. However, throughout history, when the children of God changed their hearts from fear to faith, the tangible substance of things hoped for, the darkness of fear was removed in the presence of LIGHT allowing God's unconditional love and peace to fill the earth which belongs to the Lord. The Kingdom of God is manifested allowing the joy of the Lord to become our strength removing the Adam and Eve syndrome of judgment and condemnation. He alone is our shepherd ready to pour out everything we need. The Lord is good, giving protection in times of trouble. He knows who trust in Him, so don't let your hearts be trouble allowing God to guide you along paths that you did not know and make the darkness become light; the rough ground smooth...
