One Word Thoughts

Clarion Cry: Attach the Spirit of Fear

We are living at a time in history that is being governed by a spirit of fear. However, throughout history, when the children of God changed their hearts from fear to faith, the tangible substance of things hoped for, the darkness of fear was removed in the presence of LIGHT allowing God's unconditional love and peace to fill the earth which belongs to the Lord. The Kingdom of God is manifested allowing the joy of the Lord to become our strength removing the Adam and Eve syndrome of judgment and condemnation. He alone is our shepherd ready to pour out everything we need. The Lord is good, giving protection in times of trouble. He knows who trust in Him, so don't let your hearts be trouble allowing God to guide you along paths that you did not know and make the darkness become light; the rough ground smooth...

The Clarion Cry: Attack the Spirit of Fear

He knows who trust in Him, so don't let your hearts be trouble allowing God to guide you along paths that you did not know and make the darkness become light; the rough ground smooth (Nahum 1:7, John 14:1, Isaiah 42:16, Heb. 11:1, Psalm 24:1).

When a person's steps follow the Lord, God is pleased with his ways. If he stumbles, he will not fall, because the Lord holds our hand. Judge not, so that you will not be judged. We are quick to judge what leadership is, or is not doing, but what about accountability within you? God tells us that judgment begins in the house of God or the body of Christ.

As fathers and mothers, are we being responsible for our children or expecting the government to take care of them? As citizens, are we being responsible for our neighbors and community, or do we expect the community to take care of them?

As co-workers at your job, are you being responsible to do what you have been hired to do with a cheerful heart and a team player, or do you feel your employer owes you something? Are you taking responsibility for your own health by exercising and eating properly, or are you expecting your medicines, doctors, and health insurance to keep your body alive? As a Christian, do others whom God has brought across your path see the love of their Heavenly Father in you that will draw them to the Word, or do they see judgment, condemnation, and separation within the body of Christ, the church? It won't matter who the congress and president is of a country, if the people don't hold themselves accountable to the responsibilities God has given them. (Psalm 37:23-25, Matt. 7:1).

God did not give His people a spirit of fear that makes us afraid, but a spirit of power and love and self-control. The Spirit of God within us removes the ability for us to be slaves again to fear allowing us to cry out, "Father." Where God's love is, there is no fear, because God's perfect love drives out fear.

It is insecurity of the unknown that makes a person fear, so love is not made perfect in the person who fears. The people who trust the Lord will become strong again. They will rise up as an eagle in the sky; they will run and not need rest; they will walk and not become tired. God will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you can hide. His truth will be your shield and protection. You will not fear any danger by night or an arrow during the day. You will not be afraid of diseases that come in the dark or sickness that strikes at noon. At your side one thousand people may die, or even ten thousand right beside you, but you will not be hurt. So we can be sure when we say, "I will not be afraid, because I have an intimate relationship with the Lord who is my helper. People can't do anything to me." Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (2 Tim.1:7, Romans 8:15-16, 1 John 4:18, Isaiah 40:31, Psalm 91:4-7, Heb. 13: 6,8).

By faith we must believe that nothing bad will happen to you. No disaster will come to your home. He has put his angels in charge of you. They will watch over you wherever you go. The Lord says, "If someone loves me, I will save him." You won't need to be afraid of sudden trouble; you won't fear the ruin that comes to the wicked, because the Lord will keep you safe. He will keep you from being trapped. Even if you walk through a very dark valley, you will not be afraid, because our Heavenly Father is with you. His rod and walking stick will comfort you preparing a meal for you in front of your enemies. He will pour the joy of the Holy Spirit on your head; filling your cup to overflowing so that you will not judge others, but have an abundance to give to others in the love of our Heavenly Father is supplies you with all of your needs. (Psalm 91, Psalm 23).

Dear brothers and sisters, warn those who do not work for those who work hard make a profit, but those who only talk will be poor. However, you will not succeed by your own strength or power, but by the Spirit of God. We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. They are the people he called, because that was his plan.

So don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks, and God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. The people that trust in the Lord will return and enter His temple with joy. Their happiness will last forever. They will have joy and gladness, and all sadness and sorrow will be gone far away.

Praise the Lord, His mercy endures forever. Amen.
